Schadenfreude is not an Irish word. It's German for enjoying the trouble of others. Even Willingham, class act that he is, must have had trouble suppressing a smile Friday.
Thought some of you might enjoy this, it made me chuckle when I saw the word used on ESPN.com

Hey, we got some new sister schools this week to go with Kent State!

Memphis because of their history and Utah because of Urban Meyer.

Personally, I root for any non-BCS school against any BCS school. So, I hope Utah kicks the crap out of Pitt. But I hope UM doesn't coach them in that game or we could have another Denny Stolz meltdown on our hands. And that would only help falsely prove the BCS's point.

Pitt might be the worst team ever to play in a BCS bowl. If Utah loses to them, maybe Trev Alberts was right all along......No he'll still be an idiot.

I think Utah's best chance to win is if Urban Meyer is on the sidelines. The Utah players have heard the rumblings for the past month or so about his potential for taking a better job and in a way were resigned to the fact. Just reading some of the quotes this past week I think they understand this is a career move he couldn't turn down. While disappointing it certainly can't be a big shock to them. Much different than the Stolz scenario.

I hope you're right. The Utah players quotes did seem that way.
I'm not sure what the Dennis Franchione (before he left for TCU) situation was at New Mexico about 8 or 9 years ago, but I believe they got killed in their bowl game also. I don't think a lame duck coach does any good for a team, no matter the situation.

I bet Trev Alberts and Mark May hold hands when they walk around together! They are both A-Holes.
