No surprises. CMU & NIU each got "a" vote.

I dunno, I think a MAC team getting a vote in a preseason poll in any sport is a HUGE surprise.

The following MAC coaches have a vote, and 'probably' gave the League some Love:

Tim Beckman, Toledo
Dan Enos, Central Michigan
Al Golden, Temple
Mike Haywood, Miami (Ohio)
Jerry Kill, Northern Illinois

Any votes are good votes and I'm glad that the MAC is getting a little pre-season love, even if it is coming from within.

Enos and Kill voted for themselves. Golden only votes in polls that can help him get a better job next year. Haywood checked with Charlie Weis before voting and missed the deadline. Beckman's ballot had "UT: The Top Recruiting Class in the MAC Biotches!!!" written in crayon and was disqualified.

Hey, now. Be nice. Stuart Mandel paints a picture that has Temple ending up in the Rose Bowl.
