Bears Name Practice Squad Players

Post by Rollo83 »

And Freddie Barnes in not among them. Bears sign two other wide receivers to their practice squad that were in camp with them. Obviously, Freddie not in their plans. CMU's Dan Levour was claimed by the Bengals and I believe he has to stay on their active roster?

So much for the theory the Bears were hiding Freddie. They never gave him a chance.

According to the Chicago Tribune, the Vikings picked Freddie up...

In the Star-Tribune they call him Freddie "Brown"

I don't know what the Tribune was thinking, but there's no mention of Barnes signing with the Vikings. "Freddie Brown" is out of Utah and was cut by Minnesota, then added to their PS.
