Good news is that Tulsa gave up 51 points to East Carolina today, Bad news is that Tulsa scored 49 and got beat by a hail mary as time expired...

It's bad news that Tulsa got beat?

But yeah, I see your point... Wrap up D!

I watched most of the game. Troy has a better defense than Tulsa in my opinion...but Tulsa has a way better offense than Troy. Tulsa losing this game probably not in our best intrest.

Don't forget we lost a game that we could have easily won. Is that in Tulsa's best interest as well?

It is just an uncomfortable feeling playing a team that embarassed us last time. Even with the facts being that there is an entirely new staff, and there can't be too many guys left that played. Our coaching staff is going to have to come up with a heck of a game plan to stop their offense. I was impressed with their offense today. Their D struggled, but ECU has better athletes than they get credit for.

If the players have the attitude that well it won't matter because Tulsa put up 49 points, then we should just forfeit the game. Likewise, Clawson should have extra incentive to work on tackling this week knowing he's facing a team that can light it up. It's a challenge the defense should be excited to take on.

All valid points...all around. I gotta admit...after sitting through that debacle in Mobile and watching Tulsa/ECU yesterday, my stomach started to get a pretty sick feeling. I can't stand this team and coach and started thinking "God, I hope this doesn't happen again". We first played in 1989 and lost down there 45-10. Two blowouts and ya can't help but think what if. And as Drago said, ECU is a solid program that doesn't seem to get the credit they deserve.

At any rate, I reallllllllllly hope our tackling improves 250% because we simply cannot give an offense like Tulsa's 2nd and 3rd chances. Their O is smoking good. Now their D is smoking bad so we have that going for us. ;-)

I doubt I'll get to see any of the game in Jamaica but will be checking the TV's at the 4 swim up bars at the resort. Red Stripe...well cold. :drinkers: :-D

Fellas, go all out in practice this week and for those players that were in Mobile that night....well, you know. :axe:

BEAT TULSA!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have a good time in Jamaica. Hope you are spending at least a day in Negril and the Red Stripe always tastes better in Jamaica.

That line will go up, I'm sure many will put money on Tulsa after watching their game Sunday. They can put up some points.

What's the Over/Under? I'd be willing to throw some money on the Over as long as it's not above 80.
