I talked to our internet people here this morning... we have a local provider... and they said that ESPN3 charges a fee for Every user that the provider has and it is pretty darn high right now. They were hoping that after a while, the price would go down as it did for the NFL and Big Ten Networks after they had been out for a while on Cable and they would be able to provide it.

It's around .10 to .20 per customer. It adds up, and it does reduce potential profit margins of a service provider.
