Ben Bojicic injury

From the ST: Veteran center Ben Bojicic had to leave the game with a leg injury and Nick Torresso, who is untested as a college center, played the rest of the game at center. Bojicic was on crutches on the sidelines in the second half. True freshman Dominic Flewellyn took over for Torresso at left guard.

Ben suffered a high ankle sprain which will take a little while to return from but xrays were negative. Ben is tough and a great leader and he will work to get back ASAP while helping the other guys. Torresso seemed to do well at center after returning from his own apparently more minor injury in the first half. But the big surprise was how well Dom Flewellyn filled in. After a snap or so, he really performed admirably for a true frehman in my opinion. Apparently, this is an indication of why he was such a highly sought after recruit.

Also on the true frehmen front, Tyler Beck continues to impress. Very athletic for such a big man.

Go Falcons!

That is very good news all things considered. Thanks for the info.

Yeah but high ankle sprains for running backs are very pesky injuries. Not sure if linemen are affected the same, but you gotta think they are, if not more so.
