Week 3 MAC predictions

Up to week 2, here's the totals:
LowryFalcon 18 - 5
bgsufalcon24 18 - 5
jpfalcon09 18 - 5
MarkL 17 - 6
daspollak 7-3
falconfan1999 7-3
VDub26Falcon 6-4
BGFalconfromCincy 6-4
The two FCS beatings of MAC teams screwed a bunch of us up last week.
I suppose I might be able to come up with a prize this year for the winners this year ... winner of highest winning percentage, and winner of most correct picks. Small Christmas gift, anybody?
Week 3 has 2 conference matchups and a ton of Big 10 / MAC games. I hope we as a conference finally get a non-conf FBS win. Here's the games:
Saturday
Connecticut at Temple 12:00 pm
Ball St. at Purdue 12:00 pm
Kent St. at (22) Penn St. 12:00 pm
Ohio at (2) Ohio St. 12:00 pm
Northern Illinois at Illinois 12:00 pm
Colorado St. at Miami (OH) 3:30 pm
Cent. Michigan at East. Michigan 4:00 pm
UCF at Buffalo 7:00 pm
Toledo at W. Michigan 7:00 pm
Marshall at Bowling Green 7:00 pm
Akron at Kentucky 7:00 pm
Connecticut at Temple
Winner: Connecticut. Temple's been unimpressive so far. Will probably be a close game, though. The last two times these two played it was decided by a touchdown.
Ball St. at Purdue
Winner: Purdue. I watched Purdue play last week and they looked pathetic. Ball State looked more pathetic. Purdue wins.
Kent St. at (22) Penn St.
Winner: Penn State. No real question.
Ohio at (2) Ohio St.
Winner: Ohio State. OU is not very good this year but they are known for making this game interesting.
Northern Illinois at Illinois
Winner: Illinois. I want NIU to win but not this time. Illinois should be improved. NIU can beat Minny, though.
Colorado St. at Miami (OH)
Winner: Colorado State. Miami is not a good team, and nor is CSU, but CSU seems less pathetic right now.
Cent. Michigan at East. Michigan
Winner: CMU. EMU often makes this game interesting and very close. I wouldn't be stunned if EMU wins, but CMU is far better.
UCF at Buffalo
Winner: UCF. Should be high scoring.
Toledo at W. Michigan
Winner: WMU. WMU is an all around good team. UT's offense is among the best in the nation ... if you're a UT quarterback with delusions of grandeur.
Marshall at Bowling Green
Winner: BG. BG comes up with a clutch late drive, gets the first win of the season, first home win, and first MAC non-conference FBS win.
Akron at Kentucky
Winner: Kentucky. Akron is really bad. I think they'll win at least one this year but not yet.
Have fun!
