Utah's Joe Beatty is heard from

Post by orangeandbrown »

I emailed Joe Beatty--the guy who said anyone who thought UM would leave Utah was a fool--and asked him if he felt like a fool.

He wrote back.

"I am feeling a bit foolish, yes."

...also from Mr. Beatty

"I think we all are eating crow around here today. if you had told me urban had turned down notre dame, i would have thought he was staying at Utah for sure. But i guess the man's priorities are a little different from what i thought. Recruits are getting antsy, but depending on the head coach hire i think they will keep their commitments/interest."

So when the OC leaves for UNLV, are they STILL going to keep their commitments? And what does Alex Smith have to be thinking? He just might look over at Meyer and the coaching staff, flip them the bird, and throw the ball on every down, just to get his NFL stock to rise.
