Well, my fragile intelligence quotient just took a hit briefing through that wallow of poorly composed thoughts and feelings.

But I do love a good group Drano slugging.

The best is how they still seem sure OU will be a win. I'm not real confident, but I think OU's got a pretty good shot at getting a W.

It all sounds very familiar to posts on this site 2 years ago. The character of our coach HAS made a difference.

You ever notice that when Marshall is in town, there are BG tailgaters and Marshall tailgaters...seperated...like Jim Crow laws are still in effect. I love that we mingle with the other teams that come in, EVEN Toledo! But Marshall rubs us all the wrong way and I want nothing to do with them. Rude, lude and crude people. All of them. THEY ARE! LO-SERS!

I think 2 years ago most posters on this message board thought we were going to win 10 games, 9 wins minimum. With all that talent, to only win 6, complete with defeats at the hands of hapless Miami and Eastern Michigan, that was a Drano-inducing season.

I don't think the expectations are nearly as high this year. Had we had the same team now as we did in 2008, I think most of us would have been hugely dissapointed with an 0-2 start.

Speaking of Marshall vs Ohio, I don't know who will win, but I don't think Marshall is horrible. They'll win some games. Ohio on the other hand looks pathetic right now. Maybe they just looked exceptionally bad last week because they were playing Ohio State, but they also lost at home to Toledo.

I've probably attended far more games against Marshall than most folks on this board (a function of age). My next negative experience with a Marshall fan will be my first. Sat down at a food court in Cleveland during the MAC hoops a few years back and spent an hour talking to several- pleasant, articulate, had all their teeth- sorry haters but the stereotype doesn't hold up.

I didn't really talk to any Marshall fans Saturday, but I remember the last time Marshall was in town we did tailgate with a few of them. They were good people, had no problems at all.

I strongly dislike Marshall, but I didn't have a problem with their fans. They beat the hell out of the OSU fans I encountered in 2003.

Every group of fans has losers who are just out there to be annoying.
Those who can't do, teach. Those who can't teach, teach PE.
