The Falcons have adopted the Miley Cyrus hit, "Party in the USA" as their theme song this season.

"[Fall] camp was long, and midway through we were starting to feel it a little bit," Woods explained after Saturday's win. "Then we heard that song, and it pumped us up."

Freshman Jerry Gates agreed, adding, "It was our 12th practice at camp, and we were so tired. And that song, when it came on, brought a new life to us. Now it's our theme song."

Is that the garbage song they played over the stadium speakers like 3 times on Saturday? It's fine if the players want to hear it in the locker room to get them pumped, but don't punish the fans for it!

I'm much more concerned about Schilz's shoulder and who is going to start at QB Saturday then a song that you'll hear parts of 4 more times this season. There has to be a bigger concern you guys have with the team then this right?

A few years ago people on here were bitching about Hells Bells always being played before 3rd & 4th downs. In game music at the end of the day is largely immaterial to how the team plays. WINNING does more for the fanbase than any well executed game presentation.

At the end of the day, complaining about the in-game music is almost as bad as complaining about the weather. Saying "oh, I'm not going to the game because they keep playing Miley Cyrus" is just like all those people that say "oh I think I just saw a raincloud, not going to the BG game now"

I had to restrain myself from writing the sentence- the period was all I could put in. Miley Cyrus? A men's football team? Doesn't matter if it was BG, UT or frigging USC, that is soooooo pathetic. I actually had to Google the song so that I could know what everyone was complaining about.

Still think we should only play George - Jones or Strait it doesn't matter.

Miley is about the same age as half of our football team!!! If the song works for them.....GREAT! I don't think some "older" OSU fans were too happy about "Hang on Sloopy" back in the Rex Kern era, but it seems to have out lived that!!
