Seeing as it's Thursday and the prediction thread isn't up yet, I'll get it moving.

Last week's result - Bowling Green 21 - Michigan 65
Projected - Bowling Green 17 - Michigan 38
Season picks record - 4-0

This week's game - Buffalo @ Bowling Green
This game is going to be somewhat difficult to project for a couple of reasons, but the biggest being that we don't know who is going to start at QB for the Falcons. If Schilz plays, our chances of victory are well north of 50%, but if Pankratz has to go again, then it's probably no better than a coin flip. Buffalo hasn't played all that well so far, with no wins against 1-A opposition in 4 weeks. They appear to be more defensively based than BG. If the game gets into the 30s or higher I think BG wins it.

I'm going to go on the assumption that Schilz does play and that BG gets it done at home.

I think BG will bounce back after last week beating!
We are home and its homecoming, Look for the falcons to come up victorious saturday!

BG comes out firing on all cylinders, pumped for a huge homecoming crowd, the Defense has its best game of the season and Clawson and the boys get to 2-3.

Im not worried if Pankratz plays since he did an admirable job against Michigan. I am more concerned about our running game. 32 yards on 27 attempts is horrendous. I think BG is feeling better that it survived its OOC schedule, and plays a solid game against UB. The D will give a few easy drives, but clamps down early in the second half allowing the O to put this game away early.

Getting Ben back will help the OLine situation....especially with rushing yards difficult to find lately. UB has struggled much of the season.

BG wins by multiple possessions. Defense plays far better than last week. BG wins 27 - 14 and starts MAC play on the right note.

We lose a squeaker. 30-27. Buffalo hangs onto the ball and our D struggles to get stops. I agree that this is a flip of a coin matchup, but I say Buffalo returns the favor from last year.
