FG?

Post by BGSUFootballFan »

So I was listening to the game on WBGU via the internet and the announcer clearly called that the kick was "right down the middle with plenty of distance" and the crowd was going wild in the background. So my best friend and I jumped around and yelled for like 10 seconds straight before we calmed down enough to hear that he missed it. I was wondering did he miss it left, right, short? Was it close? Thank you in advance.
4th & 13 on PU 32yd line.. 56,000 fans up on their feet screaming, i held my breath the entire play trying to make as little noise as possible.. wouldnt u know Sharon would make the biggest touchdown catch in the history of BG Football, FALCON UP!

It was wide right. I was sitting on the West Side around the 30 yard line, and I was jumping up and down because I thought it was in also. It had plenty of distance.

I was standing in the Falcon Club tent area behind the right goal post and could clearly see it was wide to the right by just a bit. Not down the middle, not even close...almost right over the right post, but a little too much to the right, unfortunately!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

One foot outside the upright. Josh and I were right behind the goal post.
