Ticket price at Ohio

Why are ticket prices so high for this game?
The Ohio tickets are 30 dollars a pop. I was thinking I would be paying maybe 10-15 but not 30!
Other games such as the Toledo game is 20 dollars (only 10 if you pre bought tickets). And a few games were 15.
I dont understand the price differences, I do understand if its a rival coming in but COME ON. This is BG vs Ohio. Its not a huge heated rivalry game or anything.
This is actually changing my mind about going to the game. I think my wife and I will still go down there to the campus and ponder it since we were planning on going to hocking hills and the Bob Evans fest down in that area anyway. We may wait till later in the game to see if we can sneak in free lol.
One of my freinds is an Ohio Alum. Ive never been there before and told him I really wanted to check out the Ohio campus and stadium and he told me the campus is beautiful, the stadium is nice but there wont be many people there. With this kind of price I can see why!

Yeah, I was thinking of making the trip to Athens too, since I haven't been there before, but the price is just outlandish.

It's Parents Weekend and I guess every big weekend at OU gets priced extra heavily. My girlfriend's best friend goes to OU and we were debating about going, but the ticket price quickly drove us away.

$30 a pop? Sheet. I know in '08 they were $25 each but lucklily for us, MajorFalcon met up with some Army bro's as there was a huge Army gathering. He was able to get us tix. All 4 of us are going....Mrs. Freak ain't gonna like the price now. We're gonna hit Subway on the way in and TG for a couple hours.
$30? Ugh. Good thing tomorrow is pay day.
BTW, forecast for Sat is Sunny and 83. It'll be like Jamaica again...LOL.
GO FALCONS!!!

So some of you were going to go to Athens, which is near no other place in the world, hence a costly place to get to, but the deal breaker is that you'll have to pay twenty extra bucks for two tickets? Pack a lunch, bring last year's program and take the compact car to save gas and go watch your team- its beautiful down there this time of year

I think most people are shocked that a MAC team wants to charge $30 for tickets.

Here in Akron, the Zips are charging $20 for GA and there is a real possibility they will not win a game this year.

Think that I am heading to the game with a buddy and his son. I am assuming we can get these 30$ tickets at the gate and his 5 year old probably wont have to pay. Anybody got clarification on that?

I would assume the 5 year old probably will have to have a full-price ticket. Most universities I have been associated with require tickets for those either over 1 or 2 years of age.
