With a knee injury. :( Tyrone Pronty is out today is well.

Good news? Scott Lewis is back today on the O line although he didn't start.

The O line injuries have been many so far...

GO FALCONS!

I saw a play in the Michigan game when he appeared to have had his leg rolled over when he was standing up on the play. It didn't look good when it first happened and I think this might have been the play it happened on.

And a few more injuries from today...Geter, Truss and Pronty didn't even play. There was someone else getting hurt today but I can't think of who it was.

Injuries suck but they are part of the game...gotta keep fighting thru them.

Zach Ackenberger probably broke his leg.

When it rains it pours! Injuries are a part of football. I still feel bad for these young men.

Injuries are actually good for a young team because it forces more time for different players and creates a deeper team.

Agree GT...It does create depth, which we are lacking.

Thanks FF! I can't believe I forgot about Ackenberger.

Wow. Where would I begin to respond to this? I'm thinking that if you posited that theory to the team you may get a different response. Start with your fullback.

Setting aside the notion that your theory seems kind of callous, I'm not sure how losing starters makes your team deeper by having less talented guys get more minutes. Starters lose playing time and come back weaker and with fewer reps due to the injuries. If they come back at all.

Trying to stay on the positive side. This season is a wash and any positives we can get out of it the better.

He's a local townie, so I notice his name when it's mentioned during the games. Given his size and his obvious work ethic, it's a testiment to him that he's earned his spot. An injury like that just sucks no matter what, but for a guy like him, that has fought his way from walk on to a regular playing spot, it just makes you really feel badly for the kid!!!

Here's an article on our team injuries:

Does anyone know what exactly the injury is to Walker's knee?
