1 point loss to Temple
2 point loss to Buffalo
3 point loss to Troy
BG is now 2-7 in games decided by one score or less under Clawson.

MAC football is getting very difficult to watch. There are good plays and stupid dumb mental mistakes on almost every drive. I personally think the coaching in the conference is very poor right now. Al Golden is the conference's top coaching candidate for other jobs, and I don't think he's real good either.

OSU has 7-8 games a year at home and then we they go on the road they play like an average team. Could have lost at Illinois and then last night in Wisconsin. Ah...Purdue and Minnesota coming up in their next 2 games--just what the doctor ordered.

I'm troubled not as much by the margin of the losses, but the nature of them.
Including the bowl game last year, BG has lost four of their last seven games on plays decided in the last four seconds or less.
Idaho: 2 pt conversion with 0:04 left
Troy: GW FG allowed with 0:04 left
Buffalo: Missed FG at time expired.
Temple: Missed 2 pt conversion with 0:00 left.
Good teams find ways to win those games. We are not a good team.

Another trend that needs to end is getting down 2 scores in the 4th and having to rally. Those 2 wins are over UB and Kent where the team had to come back to win. It seems like every game it's repeating itself, BG scores first, they get behind and then rally late to make a game of it. Something that the coaching staff needs to get changed if we wanna see any improvement.
