This team is pathetic!!! GENOA COMETS could give a better fight. I realize Kent defense is in the top 10 in all of football but still only 3 first downs and 45 yards of offense!! I am going to grab some food and head over to the hockey game. I wonder how many others will leave with me. Women's basketball cannot start soon enough. As I am walking to my car I have already heard at least 9 people say they are never coming back. How sad.

They came out to see a 1-6 football team put up 40 yards in the first half. I wouldn't do the same but I can't find much wrong with it.

I would rather have people come to the games and be disappointed in the team and not come back rather than local townies not even come at all. At Frickers following the game now and I see we lose 3 more yards and then throw an INT. Hopefully people will take their ticket stubs over to the hockey or volleyball game and get in for 1.00

Kent's D was not all that good- numbers don't tell the story.

Two really important points here, and I'm debating which one to mention first. OK, got it...

1) They came out to see the Bowling Green State University Falcons. I don't care if they're 0-7 or 7-0, true fans support the program and the university through the thick and thin, good times and bad.

2) The walking out part I didn't necessarily have that huge of an issue with. It hurts to watch performances that poor. The whiny, selfish asinine "I'm never coming back" remarks did the trick. I get that we're not exactly in the position to be willingly forfeiting even a small slice of fan support, but they can not let the pink railings hit em' on the way out as far as I'm concerned. I live close to Buffalo where fans have come out in droves year after year watching some of the worst football in professional sports, so saying goodbye forever after a bad half strikes me as fairly pathetic and fair weathered at best.

Guy who sits behind me isn't coming back ever. week after week he says that. Never. Coming. Back. Next week- says it again. talk's cheap, people are frustrated= they'll be back. What I don't get it leaving early, then following the game on TV or radio. Ya just friggin' left cuz ya couldn't stand it-if you're gonna continue to follow the game do it from your seat.

But like I said I would rather have a person come to the game and be disappointed and not come back then those who live only miles away and NEVER attempt to go to a game. We all know that wins put butts in the seats. It is just a shame this team could not perform better for what was a decent size crowd to see a 1-6 team. I drive 5 hours to see this team play every home game. But I will be glad when basketball season begins. GO FALCONS

It's was going to be a challenging year and WE ALL KNEW THAT. It's worse than some hoped, true, but it's only Clawson's second year with a extremely young team.

Should they be improving? Yes, but I'm not ready to trot the coaching staff off to the gallows. It's tough to get a young team "up" when they've had their heads handed to them as much as they have this year.

It'll be okay with time.

I still love my school and I will back my fellow alumni and current students regardless.

Call it "Rocket" or "MiAudi Envy." Both teams have spent time on it this year and last. It's only fair we spend some time there as well with our new coaching staff.
