Woods (5) at linebacker is one of only a few bright spots on defense.

What about the redshirt freshman? I didnt discriminate. I keep hearing we are young and I agree but who are the guys we should be excited about.

When I first posted I assumed that 5 would be obvious and was hoping there would be a diverse group mentioned. For me it is not as obvious.

Bayer has been pretty exciting. So has Boo Boo Gates.
True Freshman that have played outside of Gates are the Starting LG now (Flewelleyn?) who I assume is good but the OL is bad so assuming he is good just because he is playing might not be a good idea, Beck at FB and Foster at S.
Redshirts in the 2 deep are
DE Anthony Lawson
DT Jairus Campbell and Ted Ouellet
LB Paul Swan
S Austin Collier
CB Cameron Truss and Aunre Davis
QB Matt Schilz
RB Jordan Hopgood
TE Alex Bayer
OL Kyle Bryant

I remember the days of Nate Fry and Timchenko (Sp?) when we would joke about that. Wear your cleats to the game and you stand a chance of being kicker for the day.
