jpfalcon09 58 - 17 (.773)
MarkL 57 - 25 (.695)

BGFalconfromCincy 49 - 17 (.729)

VDub26Falcon 44 - 18 (.710)
falconfan1999 43 - 15 (.741)
svillefalcon 42 - 17 (.712)
footballguy51 41 - 18 (.695)
Chimie 23 - 11 (.676)
BG won! And nobody got perfect, and we've all still got a game tonight on last week's predictions. Again, I'll be posting on Thursday for games Friday to Thursday, and there is a MAC game tomorrow to predict.
5 games to predict, all MAC games. Here's the matchups for this week:
Friday, November 5
Western Michigan at Central Michigan, 6:00 pm
Saturday, November 6
Akron at Ball State, 1:00 pm
Temple at Kent State, 2:00 pm
Tuesday, November 9
Toledo at Northern Illinois, 7:00 pm
Wednesday, November 10
Miami at Bowling Green, 8:00 pm
And, for my predictions:
Western Michigan at Central Michigan. Winner: WMU. CMU is just not playing well at all right now. CMU hasn't lost to WMU in a very long time. That ends tomorrow night.
Akron at Ball State. Winner: Ball State. It is very tempting to pick Akron here. Neither team is playing well. But, I think Ball State is good enough to beat the Zips.
Temple at Kent State. Winner: Temple. Kent is going to play extremely well, but Temple has scored two straight shut outs. Temple wins nicely.
Toledo at Northern Illinois. Winner: NIU. Believe it or not, these two are both undefeated in MAC play. Someone's got to lose. Toledo generally has NIU's number, but NIU at home is going to win huge IMO. NIU is the far better team right now. Also, if anyone didn't know, Toledo has terrible luck with QB health (06, 07, 09) and again lost a starting QB for the season. Dantin was injured against Eastern Michigan and is out for the season.
Miami at Bowling Green. Winner: BG. No Miami Whammy this time. I don't know when the last time was that we had a wining streak vs. Miami, but I sure would like to start one after knocking them off at their house last year. Miami has played surprisingly well this year and is certainly in the MAC East race right now. Our defense has improved a lot recently and completely shut down CMU last week. I am going to call for BG's defense to play stellar and shut down the Miami offense, and for the BG offense to be efficient and effective, though not necessarily explosive. Good solid win for BG.
We're in the home stretch. Good luck, everybody! I think we'll end with the MAC Championship game, and the winner gets a little Christmas gift from me!
