footballguy51 42 - 18 (.700)
Chimie 23 - 11 (.676)
Last few weeks here, and it's still competitive!
Here's the games, and thanks as always to the MAC for putting our games on weird days:
Friday, November 12
Ball State at Buffalo, 6:00 pm
Saturday, November 13
Eastern Michigan at Western Michigan, 2:00 pm
Army at Kent State, 2:00 pm
Central Michigan at Navy, 3:30 pm
Tuesday, November 16
Ohio at Temple, 8:00 pm
Wednesday, November 17
Miami at Akron, 6:00 pm
Bowling Green at Toledo, 8:00 pm
And, for my predictions:
Ball State at Buffalo. Winner: UB. Neither has been great, but I think UB has played all around better recently, even if the wins aren't coming.
Eastern Michigan at Western Michigan. Winner: WMU. I believe EMU can make it a bit interesting, but WMU's offense should pull them away.
Army at Kent State. Winner: Army. Kent has been great at shutting down the run, and running is all Army does, but I don't think Kent hasn't seen a triple option yet. Army wins.
Central Michigan at Navy. Winner: CMU. We are the worst run offense in the country, but we ran for 107 on CMU. Navy ran for 521 on ECU. Navy big.
Ohio at Temple. Winner: Ohio. Early in the season, I would have said Temple, and I still am contemplating picking Temple with how their defense has played recently. But, Ohio has gotten better each week recently and I think they escape Philly with a win.
Miami at Akron. Winner: Miami. Akron is the only winless team in the country for a reason.
Bowling Green at Toledo. Winner: BG! Both teams are coming off of tough losses. Clawson will have the guys focused and we put together our best effort of the season and keep the Peace Pipe for yet another year! All while Beckman keeps his players from saying a thing to the media.
Barring anything unusual, it's going to be NIU vs winner of Ohio / Temple for the MAC championship, and I think we'll end the predictions with that game. Good luck! And BEAT TOLEDO!!
