I heard an interview earlier today of Tim Beckman on The Ticket. Not sure what it is but he sounds so conceited. Like I said it could just be that I dislike Toledo so everything rubs off the wrong way but just his voice was irritating. And listening to him on the radio I couldn't get the football group picture out of my mind where he was sticking out his chest. One thing he said that I thought was funny was that Tim said the BG-UT was separated up and down I-75 by only 17 or 18 miles. I think Tim needs a math lesson. BGSU is located at exit 181. With Tim's math BG will be playing either the Rossford Bulldogs or the Maumee River Muddogs. I know our record is not that good this year and I too have doubts about Clawson and the staff (SORRY BUT WE CANNOT USE THE YOUNG TEAM EXCUSE ANYMORE. THE FROSH HAVE PLAYED 10 GAMES AND THE SOPH PLAYED 23) but I still will take Clawson over Beckman.

Clawson over Brandon? Ah yes..the days of 30 points a game. I remember when we would get mad if we had to punt. Those were the days. And just food for thought, the crowd last night rivaled that of the Buffalo game that did in Brandon. The only difference in the two games? Yes we were playing for the East division title that night. No wonder Brandon was so upset. Clawson should be doing cartwheels getting a crowd like that last night with a record like ours. I still love the way our defense is coming together. Very good showing both last week and last night.

Coach Beckman must be rubbing off on Debtzoomba. I didn't think I mentioned Brandon. Can't wait until we go north some 23 miles and kick some ay ziggy zoomba azz on Wednesday. The current UT senior class has never beaten BG in football. Let's keep it that way. Let's send that senior class out 0-4 against us. Heck how about CMU pull off the upset next week and that UT seniors will be 0-8 against the two of us. That will be a wonderful holiday present!
