According to Coach Haywood, Miami cleverly used the fog to their advantage. They're so smart in Oxford... Although I believe BG outscored MU 14-3 when the fog was thickest.

That may be true! Their uniforms were helping them to blend into the fog.....

It seemed BG had better success throwing on the foggy side than they did on the clear side late in the game. Sitting on the Eastside of the stadium the view was much better over there than what I heard from people on the Westside. The only site problem I had was tracking the ball on kicks and long passes.
Entertaining story that will be made into part of Miami lore. Unfortunately we just didn't have enough firepower to complete the comeback and create a legendary story for ourselves.
