more importantly, is there an open container law, especially where the parade & such is going to be held.

Very important because I do not want to get ticketed by the cops for having an open can of Diet Pepsi.

Mitch,
With the stuff you "hide", you could always use a long straw and drink it staight from the inside pocket... We'll help you get home.

Mitch,
Are you and the Mrs driving down? If so, what day are you leaving?

HA. Just don't act like a fool, and you'll be fine. Also, make sure you're drinking it in a can. Cops frown upon bottles. Once you're inside the gates at the stadium, you'll be able to do almost anything.

watching BG in Vegas on ESPN Classic today made me think of this. I remember asking the cop about three times when we there if it really was OK to have an open beer on the street. They kept telling me yes. One of those things I wanted to see someone else do first until we decided it was OK.

I remembered thinking the same thing when I was there last year (a year ago today, actually. Go figure!), but after awhile, it seemed so natural. And why shouldn't it? Beers belong everywhere!!!

I was one day from graduation. I really did not want to have a blemished record like the rest of you who appeared in the blotter at some point during your college days.

Shoot Mitch, that was just my BG rap sheet.
That didn't include the time I didn't have the foresight to ask the open container question in Cleveland
