Worst season ever?
Worst season ever?
Have we ever had a 10 loss season?
Re: Worst season ever?
No. Nine was the previous high.
The two wins matches our low over the past 50+ seasons. The 2000 team went 2-9 and the 1970 team went 2-6-1.

3 or 4 of those were decided on the last play of the game right?
I don't like this season any more than anyone else, but it's just something to think about.

We've had some really bad luck this season. But we were definitely not a .500 team. However, we were not as bad as our record indicates. Not a good team, but better than 2 wins.

What concerns me is not the record... it is really how the team played... I felt like the team pretty much rolled over after the Temple game and was not the same. To me that is about coaching and that scares me.

Everything was bad this year, from the coaching to the effort on the field. No one should feel good about the job they did this season. Next year will be very important to not let this linger, as seasons like this can either be used as good motivational tools, or can serve as the trend for the norm for the future.

I have to agree on this. I haven't been to all the games this year, but the one's I saw, I never saw coaches getting in the faces of players. Where's the intensity? Where's the attitude? It's gotta be in the locker room, during team meetings, during film, during practice, and on and off the field. Hopefully the coaching staff and new upper classman will get this fixed.60yearsofsicsic wrote:What concerns me is not the record... it is really how the team played...
