Suisham just nailed a 45-yarder in Buffalo for the Steelers.

Have you followed the career of NFL kickers before? LOL I'm just sayin'...Jacobs4Heisman wrote:No better way to endear yourself to your "new" team. The best thing about the OT winner was no crazy celebration by Shaun. He acted like he had no doubts he was ever going to make it, and just stood there as his teammates (and Tomlin) rushed him.
He definitely is there to stay for the rest of the year. I imagine it would take a brutal playoff miss to put next year in jeopardy for him. He looked awfully good today.
Let's just say there's a difference between kicking for a perennially terrible and reactionary franchise and kicking for the Steelers. He earned a ton of rope yesterday, and there are only 5 games left.Redwingtom wrote:Have you followed the career of NFL kickers before? Shaun has played the bulk of his NFL career for both Dallas and Washington. Hardly perennially terrible franchises. Trust me, if Shaun develops the yips and loses a game or two, he will be off faster than a prom dress.Jacobs4Heisman wrote:Let's just say there's a difference between kicking for a perennially terrible and reactionary franchise and kicking for the Steelers. Yeah - you're just plain wrong. And Dallas and Washington have been pretty crummy for a pretty long time. Don't equate news headlines with success. They also share a chainsaw-style management system. Couldn't be any further from how they run things in Pittsburgh. Shaun could not ask for a better opportunity to succeed.Redwingtom wrote:Shaun has played the bulk of his NFL career for both Dallas and Washington. Hardly perennially terrible franchises.
