I know many of you do not care for Miami but you have to give credit to them and their university!

A ONE win team last year is now MAC Champs. Ok so why not BG. Maybe we can do it next year. Clearly Miami is the class of the MAC whether you want to admit it. Their baseball and softball teams compete. Charlie Coles always plays a brutal non conference schedule in basketball and they win MAC championships. And their hockey has been strong the past 5 years.

I missed the game as I was at a Masonry Christmas party and awards banquet.

Its called "Miami Magic" this year.

Not happy about BG's season, but at least one of my Alma Maters returned to football glory this year.

Redhawks knocked off Xavier mid-week. I want them to beat Dayton today.... that would make my year. Keep those damn Flyer fans shut-up for a while.

I would love to see BG take the Charlie Coles approach to their OC schedule.

Like I said, like them or not, they know how to win? Besides women's basketball when was the last time a BG sport has won a MAC championship? How many has Miami won? I would trade someone calling BG and arrogant for a Mac championship. Turning a 1 win team in 2009 to a 9 win team and winning a MAC championship in your second year is impressive.

I'm not saying they don't have a better athletics program than us because they do along with just about every single other conference team. Just like some people feel about Toledo, I feel that way about Miami. Our Baseball program won MAC championships in 2008 and 2009 and are going for their 4th straight eastern division title this spring. I do agree however, that other than womens bball and baseball, Miami is probably better in every other sport.

Stopped watching at 4th and 20 with just a few minutes to go. How did they win?

You turned the game off with a minute to go. Shame on you. They completed the 4th and 20 with a 25 yard pass. Then on next play Northern went for all out blitz and the QB hit the receiver in stride on a slant for a 30 yard touchdown with less than 30 seconds remaining.

Yeah, but they went to Miami which makes them better than you. They also have a lot of diversity. Haven't you ever noticed the amount of color on campus? Green, blue, red, black, Northface's and Jay Crew polos everywhere.

Besides, a place that worships Raplesburger has to be great, right?

Their football team's last MAC title was 2003, before that it was 1986.

Plus they have that Hockey national championship....oh wait.

Congrats to the Redhawks...what a game! If they can go from 1-11 to MAC champs in one year, there's no reason we can't to do the same. Miami played very well....and I despise them almost as much the chumps up north.
