Urban's BG Mention

Just turned the channel to the Outback Bowl and saw Urban inteviewed. She was asking him if his pre-kick speech would be any different since it was his last pre-kick speech. He said (among other things), "...no differerent than playing Oklahoma for a national championship, than Bowlling Green - Toledo...."
Nice little shout out for BG!!

Glad Urb went out with a win! Maybe he'll make his way back to NW Ohio!

Urban never ever forgets where he got his start. Those assistant coaching spots stops were important, but the day BG hired him in Dec 2000 changed his life- and his family's. And he never forgets it.
That's why I like him. That was a super BG mention.

Good to hear that! I just thought it was pretty cool for him to mention BG in the same company as those big name schools. Just loved it and really, really appreciated it!! I wish him all the best!!
