We have a lot to offer at Bowling Green on and off the field

With all the new building going on campus Bowling Green has a lot to offer to incoming students. I've seen weight rooms at Toledo, Ball State and Kent and the falcons are right at the top. We need more student support at home games as well as country music on the PA system.

Student support will come with wins at this school. It is unfortunate, but true. And the country music will probably never happen because it's not the "in" thing.

I'm with you right up to the country music part, birdman. I'd like to see less PA and more band. The band actually goes to the school...did Neil frickin' Diamond go to BGSU? No...we need to cut that "Sweet Caroline" crapola yesterday...

When's the last football game you were at Flip?

I don't think they played it at all last year.
I don't know about any other sports though.

Actually I did hear Kenny Chesney's "The Boys of Fall" this past year. Almost fainted in the booth (if that lady hadn't fainted outside of our booth, I just may have).

A song I'd like to hear -
"The Shake" by Neal McCoy (great cheerleader and dance team number)

I've only heard it at volleyball games this year, and hopefully that ends next year in the Stroh

Heh..heh...you busted me. I had my thyroid taken out first week of September and just as I was recovering from that in October I took a nasty tumble and broke my left humerus...that isn't nearly as whimsical as it sounds...and wound up with a plate and a half dozen screws in my upper arm.
long story short...I didn't do jack from September until about now.

OUCH! Glad you are better and GLAD THEY STOPPED PLAYING IT AT FOOTBALL GAMES!!! Although we need to get slightly more original than Jump Around...although that is a sweet tune.

Everytime I hear that song, I think of Robin Williams and the kids dancing on the dining room table in Mrs. Doubtfire.

+1
Send the DJ home and enjoy a live performance on game day.
The band and cheerleaders should be tasked with figuring out ways to get the crowd to make more noise,... not the DJ!

Agreed! The only time songs should be playing over the PA is during pre-game warm-ups. Once the National Anthem is played, it should be the FMB finishing out the game. And just my opinion.....they should play 'jock jams' again during pre-game!! "lllllllet's get ready to rumblllllllllllle." Ha ha ha
