why wasn't Magnone a captain this year as a senior

As a three year starter and team leader on and off the field why was he left out. I don't buy the team picks the captains. He payed his dues and was passed over. :-k

Captains are voted by the players. 2010 Captains were Ben B, Champ Fells, Wille G and Calvin Wiley.
