Mom and Dad Freak are outta the picture...

Post by Falconfreak90 »

Both have politely declined the trip....don't blame them. We're looking at 14 hours, one way. They were our best hope. The Freaklings' safety and welfare are the most important details....I honestly cannot see them doing all this riding in 48-60 hours....I know I can handle it but they're another story. Josh is 8, Jake is 5 1/2. I think if they were both over 10 it wouldn't be a problem. Plus there is no way I can drive all the way and then back...no way. Unless Tony Montana supplied me something. LOL!
ANd I still haven't heard how much time I have left at work!!! I guess every time I see us going, something else comes up. LOL!

As it stands, if I can't team up with another person or two, we are staying home for this game. We can have a big ole bowl party in the Freak's Falcon Nest sports den. And I can live with that. It's taken me about a week to prepare myself for the thought of staying home.

But we fly to Boise in sept 2005!!   :D :D J/K...maybe.

GO FALCONS!!!

BTW< anyone interested in driving down with us, PM me before 12/15. If We can hook up, we'll see if it can be done.

If not, GO FALCONS and c ya at the spring game...if not hoops or hockey first!

My friends and I have talked about taking a trian ride out there for that game. Might be kinda fun!

Freak:

Just when I assumed everything was set ...

Understand what you're up against, though. Either way, I know you'll enjoy the game and we'll see you in the Fall!

Right on '87....just isn't meant to be this year. But at least I have peace of mind knowing I won't have to make that drive and back in less than 36 hours. What was I thinking?? Just excited at the possiblity I guess. Too far to drive in too little time, too close to Christmas.

We will buy tickets and donate them to the kids in Mobile. A good lesson for the Freaklings that some kids NEVER get to go to games because of no $$$, no way to get there or nobody to take them. It is the season of Giving more than ever, this time of year, and this is a great chance to sacrifice and give.

Everyone going....PLEASE travel safely and bring us home a WIN!!!

GO FALCONS!!!!

Freak:

Good point on the lesson. And, as we discussed, you being there with them is another lesson!
