Who all is going to the B!G Recruiting Presentation at the Hilton Garden Inn in Perrysburg, OH this Wednesday, 2/2/11 @ 1730?
Time to see who we'll be watching for the next several years taking this BG Program to the next level.

Because that is where the event is scheduled.

Why Perrysburg? National tractor pull championships aren't until the end of summer and don't want the incoming students know we went 2-10 last year.

Birdman,
FWIW, I'm finding most of your "few" posts rather shallow, foolish and downright annoying..Several folks have already reacted to some of your prior posts...but PLEASE, try to use at least a little intelligent thinking before posting.

Because of classes it's probably a lot easier to hold the event off-campus. Not to mention it makes it easier for those coming from the north to come.

Isn't the Hilton Garden Inn the "official hotel" of BGSU athletics or something?

birdman reminds of Randy Quaid in Major League 2. He's saying we suck now, but once this team gets going he will be the first to say I told you so.

He's just trying to stir the pot. When I was a freshman in college, I tried that sort of thing (with much success I might add) on a message board about my high school's athletics. Being a former participant, I was able to shed a lot of light into the events on the inside, and I was able to find plenty of axes to grind. Unfortunately, it also harmed some potential relationships I had with people I knew outside of that message board. Birdman may come to realize that it is one thing to be critical and expect the best, but another to just complain endlessly about things and spread potentially unfounded rumors.
Regrettably, I have been debating on clicking the wonderful ignore button for Mr. Birdman. I am holding off for now as I have recently cleaned-out my foe list and don't wish to start building it again.

If weather forecasts are accurate the event may end up being cancelled. A foot of snow and blizzard warning. Supposed to be the worst storm in the midwest and great lakes in years. Calling for up to two feet in some areas. Maybe birdman will end up flying south.

I know birdman is annoying...but talking about him will only make it worse until he gets banned or completely ignored. For some unruly children negative attention is just as rewarding as the positive....just ignore the fool and he'll find someone else to bother, or better yet, start contributing something worthwhile.
This is the last time I will reference him

So far as the impending storm goes...I blame my daughter. The other night, we were watching a repat of that special on the Blizzard of 1978 that WBGU did a number of years ago. She looked at me and said "wouldn't it be something if the Blizzzard of 78 was resurrected to bring terror?".
She has an interesting way with words for a nine year old...

Wasn't there talk of streaming it live? Maybe Coach will just have to talk to the camera and we all watch from home. That's if the Coach and Jason and a cameraperson can get there. And if we all have electricity......
We're there if we can get there!
