The Spread is not a offense it is a group of formations. So, when you speak of fans with no clue, be careful, gross generalizations can be dangerous.

Five wide outs, don't threw to the tight end and no one in the backfield to pick up the blitz. we don't have the talent to run this formation, how about the I, Ms DIRECTION a few screens and delays. just to name a few. To often the db are 10=12 yards off the ball and the Qb is looking at one receiver. the o line took bad rape on not picking up blitzes. Five men blocking seven, not good..
