A little birdie told me it's homecoming, too. If that doesn't come close to selling out, we may never sell out.
No home game the day after Thanksgiving, either, and four of the last five are against East opponents. Pretty good schedule at first glance.

I like our chances of getting back to The Doyt for the Morgan State game. Hopefully the finances and schedule hold up!

Two home games in Sept. are good. Two weeknight home games in Nov. are blah. Not sure how I feel about UT on Oct. 15. Overall, I like it.

Love that Toledo is on a SATURDAY while students are on campus.

Now wait one cotton pickin' minute! Birdman said we had no games on ESPN next year. This has to be a mistake.

Sometimes I think they make this as intentionally inconvenient for me as possible.
We trave to Ohio every year for T'giving, so of course, the Buffalo game is scheduled for then.

If Oct 15th is Homecoming, we need to sell out the Doyt. When will it be known for certain the Toledo is Homecoming?

I cannot believe we are seriously going to waste homecoming on the Toledo game. Homecoming should be reserved for an opponent that doesn't draw, like Buffalo, Eastern Michigan, or Temple. Why put all of your eggs into one basket and lose a potentially big draw on another week/opponent that many fans probably won't show for unless it's homecoming.
At least by making Toledo homecoming and not family weekend, we're not conceding an automatic win to UT, that'll probably end up going Temple's way instead. Of course, we've lost the last three years on homecoming too, so we're getting into jinx territory there too. At least most of the recent homecoming games have been close, unlike family weekend where we usually get blown out by at least 3 scores.

Looking at the schedule on BGSUFalcons.com, it seems pretty apparent that the Toledo game will be Homecoming -
Saturday, Oct. 15 - TOLEDO^ (Homecoming)

When: October 1, 2011
Where: Mountaineer Field—Morgantown, WV
2010 Season for the Falcons: 2-10
Series Record: 2-0 WVU
Last Meeting: 1991—WVU 24. BG 17
Analysis:
Just like the Norfolk State game in September, the game with Bowling Green will be another opportunity to work out some more of the kinks of the offense while still playing full speed in attempt to avoid the trap game a week after the LSU game.
This was a breakdown of WV's schedule on bleacher reports...I hate it when teams overlook us like this I would love to make them eat their words

Smart move, putting family weekend for an OOC game. No impact on the conference race when we inevitably lose that week. Our administrators are getting smarter.
