BG at 39

Looked on the ESPN.com and the ESPN/USA Today poll has BG at 39 with 22 votes. Toledo was 35, Miami 41, Marshall 45, NIU 49.

Then the AP has Toledo at 32, NIU at 40, Marshall at 45, Miami at 47, BG at 51.

Nice to see 5 in the preseason "Others Receiving Votes." If the MAC knocks off some big boys early this year, this could be the season the MAC really blows the doors off!!! But we'll see...That's why you have to play the game. Let's Go Falcons!!!

College Football News has come up with a combined poll concept. They decided to combine the College Football News poll, the Sports Illustrated pool, the Sporting News poll, and the Athlon poll. BG's average poll ranking is 58.75, which is good for 58th overall. Here are some other MAC schools:

Toledo 38.25 (36th overall)
Miami 55.25 (56th overall)
Marshall 53.75 (54th overall)
Northern Illinois 64.5 (66th overall)
