Spring football in Review

Went to practice last Saturday and the mood seems to be a carry over from last season with very little emotion. As a controlled scrimmage you can would think the energy would be sky high. As far as tackling as a unit I don't think we improved at all over last year. The practices overall is made up of drills that are timed and when the horn goes off they move on to the next drill like a heard of sheep, no real contact or one on one. Go to a O.S.U, NEBRASKA, L.S.U practice and see the level of involvement by everyone not just the first twenty five players. About the wins next season? Go to practice and see for yourself. Then head North and check out the rockets. Don't be surprised if the rockets give O.S.U a scare. We know about the first five games, the Tressul thing. Toledo is for real. The falcons need to step up and get some pride in the program. If we don't learn from the past, we will repeat it or something like that. Lets see some good old fashion get nasty, kick a$$ football at Bowling Green instead of a team everyone wants to schedule for homecoming

Hmm, well until BM is gone I don't think I'll be posting here for football anymore, just getting ridiculous. I don't want one guy to ruin a community but if every offseason thread is going to be from him, there's nothing substantial to read here anymore.

until we as a team find a solution to a 2-10 season who cares weather you like the comments or not. Get some threads on how do we become a better team? go away who cares. The record speaks for itself. Quite being a pretender. If your not a contender go away. This is my third year at BG and it's no fun going home or spring break and have to hear about how far the program has fallen in the last three years. As far as your +1 and Ban birdman that's fine, your entitled to free speech. What are your comments to a 2-10 season and the worst team of all time. I didn't make the hire and but have to deal with friends who attend Toledo on a regular bases. Be a contender or go away with your 3500 + post. Spend more time learning football or call me at 1-800-infobirdman.

Yeah..the guy who draws up a formation with trips, two TE's and an empty backfield is telling people to learn about football...that strike me as being a bit odd.

Birdman just tell all your rocket homers the truth, you have decided to concentrate on studies instead of extracurricular activities, then when they leave you can cry yourself to sleep.

I'm far more distraught that the person who wrote this could possibly be 3 years into a BGSU education than I will ever be about the state of our football program.

birdman...I don't know how much Falcon football you've seen...I don't care to know either...but last year's team was not the worst in BG history. That 2000 team under Balckney was pretty bad and Moe Ankney had a squad or to that were pretty bad also. In fct I think the 2000 team and this team were similar in that they lost a lot of close games...games they had the talent to win. This team will mature like the 2000 team did...and it won't need Urban Meyer to do so.

Hammb: You should know, almost 10,000 post. Man you need a girl friend. Flipper: I stand corrected. Ok one of the worst teams in school history. Has a BG team ever lost 10 games?
