While I can usually live with the 2 for 1 deals.... Seems like Indiana...and to a lesser extent, Maryland, shouldn't have THAT much clout in scheduling.

I really like the way our future schedules are shaping up across the board. If these games hold our next three years are filled up and looking good IMO.

I especially like 2 home games in September for the next 3 years

If you compare their average attendance multiplied by their average ticket price with the same figures here I think you'll see the answer - it comes down to money.
We need more fans with higher ticket prices or the football program needs to be endowed.

Maybe BGSu and OSU can schedule a game in 2013 for the Sept. 7 date, as it is open on both schedules. I would really like to see us play them or Michigan in the next 4 years.

MTSU... nice. My wife's parents are Blue Raider alums, and it's a pretty short drive relatively speaking from Knoxville over to Murfreesboro (Less half the drive time of Knoxville to BG). That could definitely be a fun game and depending on how the next few years go, a decent contest for us as well. Seems like I'm hearing decent things about the program out there lately.

MTSU would be a fun road trip...Obviously the Swamp would be cool and I'd like to head down to Miss State.

Big Whatever and ACC? Sure, they have it...even for teams lower on the BCS level.
