Only home game I expect to be at this year is homecoming. Being at a football game at the Doyt will require either an airplane or all day behind a car by the time the season kicks off ... but I will be at the WVU game!

And Ed Goodman, another AZZer, won the panoramic pic of the Doyt....I have one hanging in our foyer and it's really a GREAT PIC! Congrats to Ed and Mike... (unfortunately, we've been too busy with family illnesses again to get time to send our season tix form in).

Mine is hanging up in my office with a framed Motor City Bowl jersey hanging under it and a picture of Doyt Perry walking the sidelines and (I think) Bernie Casey diving into the end zone for a touch down nearby.

I have our own Chase Master's masterpiece framed and waiting for a new home in our basement. Was in my office, but, well, I don't have an office these days!

I think Dan Dakich rigged it for me. Lol. Thanks for the congrats...I was pretty stunned when I found out. I did book a room at the Best Western Mountaineer Inn about 7 min from the stadium. The problem is freakling1 will be in the Green HS Marching Band this year and playing at Green games on Friday night. We may have to leave Akron around 10 after he gets done and drive straight into MTown by 1 or 1:30. Or, we may cancel the room and just get up and drive over in the AM. At any rate, if you are going to this game, RESERVE A ROOM NOW. I would say 75% of the hotels in MTown have no rooms available Sept 30. A guy I work with is a BiG Maryland fan and told me when the Terps played there a few years ago, he had a heck of a time getting a room. He said when WVU announces their sked every year, the rooms start getting snapped up almost immediately and there isn't a whole lot outside Mtown.

Congrats Ed on winning that photo!!! Love to get one of those.
