Now, is there anyway to BLOCK the AUTHOR of a post ??? 
You can block the person to the extent that their post is replaced by the following:
"This post was made by membername who is currently on your ignore list. Display this post."
If you choose to read the post, one of the words in the final sentence is a link that reveals the post. To block a member, you must go to the User Control Panel (top left of screen) and then click on Friends & Foes. Then, add your desired member to the Foes list and their posts will all be replaced with the two sentences above.
