Most recent depth chart he was 3rd string safety I believe.

Well, he had an awful lot of tackles last year for a third stringer. But anyway...I tried to look him up on the Toledo football site and they have totally scrubbed him from even the 2010 roster. Dang!

He's listed as third string this year- last year he started at least some I think. The third string thing makes me wonder although the two guys ahead of him played an awful lot last year. He was also a pretty good kick returner although we had this guy named Page who was ahead of him and might have beat him out for KOR again this year.

"Timmy"'s made it clear he'll boot anybody- Fact is ballard would be at least second string come the season. Plus, like BG, we have a top notch Athletic Director who insists that athletes be held accountable. We're fortunate to have MOB as BG is so fortunate to have Greg Christopher.

H2O, here is the roster I was referring to that I was pretty sure I saw Ballard on earlier the other day and now he is not on there.

I know. When I said "Wow" it was because I had just checked again after reading your post and he was GONE! In the twenty minutes between my check and your post somebody in the AD removed his name. Good to know they're on the ball over there. I assume the other guy is gone as well-never heard of McIntosh so I didn't check.

H2O why don't they start a Boxing Club up there?

Dang, this guy was still on the team before this incident? And how were the others ones all hidden?

Ballard has previously been convicted of a crime on seven different occasions since Sept. 2007.

And worst of all, he punched a BG Grad Student!

We thought paintball might be a good outlet for aggression but couldn't find any good paintball guns. Anybody know where we can get some used ones?

Nothing hidden about them- they're public record.

All listed in ORC as "minor misdemeanors". Two convictions were obviously connected to one incident. Not sure where anyone came up with seven but this is all that shows up in any Lucas County jurisdiction. Concerning, but not the stuff of booting the guy off the team.

Bottom line...there are knuckleheads everywhere. Ya just hope the kids your staff is bringing in each year can make the best choices on and off the field. The kid may end up at O$U...he seems ripe for that environment.

I realize they are public record...just odd nobody found them an posted them. Not the blade and not anybody on NCAAbbs...at least not that I saw.
