Reading the headline on bgsufalcons.com FOOTBALL ANNOUNCES HOME START TIMES got me amped as the one game I'll be able to attend is the Wyoming game so knowing the start time is good since we'll be traveling 12 hours for the game.
When I clicked on the article I get a "TBA" next to that game I was reminded of when I was in high school and was happy to report that "I got 'all' As, and two Bs on my report card. . . "

Why is the Toledo game at noon? Isn't that the homecoming game? Those are usually later in the day. And I wonder why the Wyoming game is TBA.
Other than that though, doesn't look too bad. Two night games in November = cold, but I can live with that.

Unless the Wyoming game is a night game, the only game I will be able to get to this year will be Temple and that will be a no-tailgating, show up just in time for the game type trip if I can't get out of work. Ugh...COME ON LATE START FOR WYOMING!!!

The part I like is we have 8 Saturdays in a row with football games. Granted, there is no break in between, but I'm just glad I don't have to go too long without a Falcon football game. The only bad part is the opening game won't end until possibly midnight. Silly timezones!

Blah...2 weeknight games in November. Those blow. Homecoming/UT is a noon kick...that sucks.
Right now we have exactly one Saturday night game scheduled. If that Wyoming game ends up being in the afternoon this will be one of the worst schedules we've had in recent years. If I would have known the lights would be so we could play games on Tuesday and Wednesday nights I would have been VERY against their installation...those games SUCK.

Remember - she's a teacher. They have plenty of time to tailgate on their hands.

And dang it!!

I didn't even look at the calendar when I posted it... So, obviously no all day tailgating and getting to bed LATE on a work night...

FF can tailgate on her hands? I'd heard she was talented but that's crazy.....Does she hold her beer with her feet?

Why the MAC insists on losing revenue by letting ESPN force Tuesday and Wednesday games in November is just nonsense. Why not try playing the games on Saturday so fans may show up to the games? Sign a tv deal with STO to show two MAC games every Saturday and be done with it. Let ESPN televise the title game and say no thanks for the midweek games.
ADs think playing midweek games on ESPN/2/U is just great for exposure. All it does is destroy your attendance and embarrass the school when they show 3000 people in the stands. The MAC hurts itself by trying to be something it isn't. Focus on your local fanbase and do not bend over for some fake advertising value that doesn't exist. Ah but what do I know?

tsun at noon...for Homecoming. That blows chunks. The rest of the sked...I can live with that. Won't be making the trips to Idaho, Miami or WMU. Everything else is good to go...
GO FALCONS!!!! 78 days and counting...

ESPN Regional is a separate entitiy from the one in Bristol, FWIW.
