So which team am I? Or are we drawing up a mock draft of what the first 20 picks would be?

Sorry, it was just an idea after work. I was thinking that we really wouldnt pick teams because that would make it harder to get people in, and people would just take the next pick up when it was there turn. And there turn would be whenever they felt like it as long as they did not take the last pick.

This is new to me, not sure if it will work.

So lets also make it 7 on 7 so that we dont get carried away with lineman

QB
RB
WR
WR
OL

So we're not taking defensive players then?

Are you asking for users to be a specific "team" GM? If so, I'll gladly take a team. Or do you just want us to to randomly make the next pick in the draft, while looking at that "team's" needs?

Either way, I think this actually could be kinda fun...always fun to dig up some blasts from the past!

Sorry....

1) We are going both ways but the 7 on 7 needs explained more on offense then D IMO because you could do i really anyway you wanted on D 2-3-2, 2-2-3. 3-2-2 or maybe its something really cool that I have never even heard of. I think that would be up to the person/people.

2) Part of me thinks we should do randomly make the next pick while looking at team needs and I will keep a running list in post one so more people can be involved. Part of me thinks that we should grab 5 guys and just do a traditional team by team mock. I can be swayed either way. There seems to be interest from 3 people in doing it that way.

I chose 5 teams because I think it will be really interesting to see who is playing QB for the team who goes RB/OL/WR early.

Could we find 7 defenders worth drafting from the last several years? Offense would be fun...QB alone would spark a lot of debate.

I think this could be pretty sweet and we could do it a few times actually. In regards to defense. I think the lack of studs will make drafting the Dyrall Briggs of the world that much more important.

You must be going for more of an arena league style 7 on 7. The 7 on 7 that is performed at practices is usually only
QB
C
5 of RB or WR or TE

Then defense is all LB and DB.

Yeah that would rid us of some great DL and OL. But the way I did it There is no TE. Which we have had some solid ones too. Maybe a Flex WR/TE/RB spot?

Gonna be tough to find those defenders, that's for sure.

With the great QBs we've had, I would seriously consider taking PJ Pope before any of them. He was by FAR our best RB in the last decade, whereas we've had some QB depth to play with. As for the QBs, the order is pretty clear in my mind, but I bet others disagree.

Well lets do 5 teams and each person gets a team since that seems to be the better way to do it. First 4 people who want to do it plus me. Take a team and once we have 5 we will start going....(Can I make an excel like chart that can chart the players better then straight down?)

I will take
