Homewood-Flossmoor's game-breaking quarterback Freddie Barnes chose Bowling Green over Indiana and Eastern Michigan.


He's from the Chicago area and is a stud ad QB. He's also really good at hoops, but apparently wants to play football. Not sure if we'll groom him as a quarterback or put some pounds on him for another position, because he's fast, tall and quick

Freddie Barnes WAS listed and mentioned a couple of weeks ago. Supposedly committed immediately after the Marshall game if I recall correctly...he and his mom both cited the "family" atmosphere at BG as being the big decider... a great compliment to BG.
