They also own a rat infested trailer, a birth certificate that lists their sister as their mother and a rusty pick up truck...

Yes, our AD apparently missed the fact that this slogan is already in use by others.

What ever happened to "ROLL ALONG"? Wasn't the athletic department pushing that just a few years ago?

Re: 'We Are' campaign
I enjoyed the "Its all right here" campaign of a few years back. I assume it meant BG had everything you needed but it sounded like a lukewarm endorsement. "Yeah, its not great, but it's all right here."
Re: 'We Are' campaign
While I can't deny that Marshall has certainly made their use of the "We Are..." chant fairly prolific in the minds of college sports fans, in my opinion they're far from having the "rights" to it. I've seen lots of schools use that chant in one way or another.
As for our use, it's not super original, but I'm not too bothered by it. It would be a bit of a shame to see "Roll Along" go by the wayside though. If for no other reason than my license plate frame features it rather prominently.

This is why I can't get upset with our use of something like that, basically the way I've seen it when it comes to sports for years now is nothing is original everything is stolen from someone elseYdfalcon wrote:While I can't deny that Marshall has certainly made their use of the "We Are..." chant fairly prolific in the minds of college sports fans, in my opinion they're far from having the "rights" to it. As for Roll Along I personally don't think its being phased out, I think they are just using that and We are BG. Last year's schedule posters had both sayings on there, and the page on the website promoting the opening volleyball game at Stroh Center has roll along right there at the end. I have no issues with using both, I think they can get along

You got me!
I don't care how we market, I just am glad to see BGSU taking a proactive approach at getting people's attention. I'd love to see more people at the Doyt this fall! And the other venues throughout the year as well!
