Omar Approaching Three Records!!!

I just found out that Omar is currently on pace to break the single season record for Fewest Interceptions Per Pass Attempts (350 minimum) in NCAA history!!

Marques Blackwell of South Florida threw 3 interceptions in 403 attempts (0.74%) in 2002. Omar is currently ahead of that pace with 3 picks in 418 attempts for 0.72%...so if he has no picks in the bowl game he will shatter that record.

He also needs to throw 4 TD passes to eclipse the NCAA record for a Sophomore of 39 thrown by Chad Pennington.

I believe he is also needs only 2 TD's to break the MAC record for total TD's in a season which is shared by Pennington and Josh Harris which I think is at 41.

I think he is tied with Leftwich, pennington, roth, and harris with 40 right now. He tied those guys in 11 games and sitting out the second half numerous times. Harris and Roth had 40 TDs in 14 games. Quite impressive. The int ratio also speaks for itself. Wow.

Even more amazing if you consider that Omar did not play the entire second half in a lot of games this season and he still may break Pennington TD record. Impressive.

Even now, I think most of the MAC is only starting to realize what kind of a player Omar is. After sitting through all of these years of hype surrounding other QBs, it feels good that we may have the best of them all.

That national media clearly has picked up on it. If Little Detroit thought they were going to hype their guy, they'll hate it all the more that it is BGSU that steals their hopes for thunder.

First, their bowl game, now their QB hype....will the FalconEnvy ever cease???

(let's hope not)

Something is not right with the math...are these inversed? If he has 40, hasn't he already broken Pennington's record?

We're talking about two totally different things. Passing TD's vs. total TD's (passing, rushing, receiving)

Omar, I believe, has 36 passing, and 4 rushing, for 40 total.
