I'll go you even one better - how about 0-4 to start the season?
The first four games seriously do not matter. Here are the games that truly count -
9/24/2011 at Miami
10/8/2011 at Western Michigan
10/15/2011 Toledo
10/22/2011 Temple
10/29/2011 at Kent State
11/8/2011 Northern Illinois
11/16/2011 Ohio
11/25/2011 at Buffalo
Win all of the above, and we get to play in this game -
12/2/2011 vs MAC West Champion in Detroit, Mich. (Ford Field)

Silliness. Clawson isn't going anywhere this quickly.
It can take 4-5 years to build a program, and he deserves at least a fourth year, if not a fifth to see if he's got it turned and going the right way.
That's assuming we don't already know that after this year.
Changing coaches every 3 years will guarantee you one thing: continuing losses.
