Uniforms

I don't think anyone should be complaining about our unis after seeing the fashion crimes committed by Oregon, Boise State and Georgia.

Agreed.

Although fortunately for those schools, if they don't like these unis, they'll have a different style for the next game.

And the week after that!! We were talking about that tonight too. Thought those Oregon unis were U-G-L-Y!!! And those Highlighter Yellow shoes, skull caps, numbers... :smt078

It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Honestly, Oregon & Boise's uniforms didn't bother me as one-offs, though I would agree they're not great for prolonged wear. Georgia's on the other hand should have been burned before anyone even put them on. Those were just God-awful.

We are not alone with the tapered helmet stripe...Southern Miss and Michigan State also have it...

Louisville has the tapered stripe too.

I don't like the orange Falcon on the orange helmet.

I would like to see something like this:

Louisville switched to the traditional 3 stripe this year.

I must be the only one that thought the Georgia and Boise St. jerseys were pretty nice. Granted, Georgia should probably stick with their traditional red since that is one of the more recognized jerseys around, but it definitely wasn't as big of a disaster as the OSU red jerseys last year. Although, to be fair, I basically just hate anything and everything that OSU does so that's not a fair judgement on my part I suppose.

I hate the "alternate" uniform concept. Just keep the teams in their base uniforms. I don't need to see a Nike commercial for 3 1/2 hours.

I love our new helmets. In fact, I just ordered three them (mini helmets) to update my BG room at home and took one into the office as well. I also received several compliments from the same co-workers who say we have the ugliest colors in collegiate athletics.
GO BG!!!
