For those of you having problems with ESPN3, are you all Time Warner customers?
It hasn't worked for me in 3 weeks. Spent lots of time with tech support, still no joy.

It wouldn't work for me using Safari but I was able to access it using Firefox. Have you tried using multiple browsers?

Yeah I've tried all the tricks...even on my iPad. No joy. It's not on my end.
TW seems incompetent to fix it.

I've heard this works ...
Go to att.net, register, get an e-mail account. Go to ESPN3, say your provider is AT&T, log in with your att.net account, and voila. Read it on a forum, but I don't need that as I'm a Comcast customer ...

Well there's a shocking development...

I have Time Warner and I haven't had any issues. For example, I am currently watching the ICC Cricket Awards (it was all that was live for me to test it). The only issue I've had as of recently was with the Idaho game and the big screw-up they had with that. Other than that, no problems.
Also, it's no longer espn3, it's WatchESPN. Also, if you are a Time Warner customer, you can actually gain access to live streams of all espn networks that you currently subscribe to. Bright House Networks and Verizon television have the same deals.

Yes, I know all that. It worked for me until "WatchESPN" launched, now it tells me I don't have the proper cable subscription. I've spent many hours on with their tech support.

Do you have an online account through Time Warner? I don't mean do you have Road Runner. But, if you go to Time Warner's website, do you have a login and password for their website? If so, the you should be able to access all of the channels you are currently subscribed to.

They finally got it fixed after two and a half weeks. I used their Twitter online help. I changed my password on my Time Warner "my services" page, and gave him my log in and password so he could duplicate the problem on his end. About 2 hours later he got back to me and it was fixed.
I think what took so long was that they didn't believe the user error was on their end. It was an authentication problem between TW and ESPN.
Frustrating experience, but I now have access to ESPN3 again.

I know, hence the problem. They finally got it straightened out today after about 6 total hours of tech support calls. It was an authentication glitch between them and ESPN.

By how I read it, if you have one of the three cable providers listed, you can get live streaming access to any channel you would normally get on TV from the ESPN networks, as well as ESPN3 content per their website. If you have one of the listed internet providers and not a cable provider, then you can obtain access to the ESPN3 content only.

If anyone needs help with theirs, I suggest the twitter online help. Much less frustrating than calling and wading through the menus. The twitter handle is @TWCableHelp

Another option is to have an Xbox 360 and a Xbox Live Gold account. From there, it's a simple download of their ESPN app & you can stream all the ESPN3 games as well as other ESPN shows and highlights. I've watched both BG games so far this year that way and have loved it compared to streaming them on my laptop (even with hooking the laptop up to the TV).

ESPN3 doesn't work on XBox for Time Warner customers as of yet. They keep saying it's "coming soon" but they've also been saying that since December of last year.
