Bowlling Green playing cupcakes

Toledo has played the buckeyes and Boise tough and is getting respect back into the program. The buckeyes not only pay off players they also pay off officials. I'm writing this at half time with Toledo down by 11. They will keep it close. On the other hand Bowling Green has played some real cupcakes Again BG is still looking at a 3-9 season. Against a very poor Morgan State The Falcons looked like last years team that went 2=10 i said 2-10 Carson Newman, New Mexico State, Colgate are just a few team we can play to get our annual 3 wins

Sorry birdman, but Toledo's getting killed tonight.

I'm not going to rag on Toledo too much though, their schedule's been very tough and they could very well start to win a lot of games later on. BGSU usually does play better teams at the start of the year, Idaho and Morgan State aren't that great, but you can't fault the team for how they've played so far. They put both games away in the first half, playing great on offense, defense, and special teams. I mean, they won 58-13 last week...even if they were playing a pee-wee team how bad could they have been? If the Falcons win again tomorrow, they'll be 3-0. So unless you somehow think we're not going to win a game in MAC play...

The other MAC teams are good, but they aren't THAT good. Most likely its going to be a topsy-turvy race to Detroit...just like most years. The way things look right now we're going to be right in the thick of it.

Birdman reminds me of that fan from Major League 2. They all suck, get rid of them all, ... when we start winning I bet he changes his tune.

3-9 is the new 2-10! I can't wait for 6-6 or 7-5 to be the new 2-10! That would be an awesome year in my book.

He is right. Miami, Toledo, etc are playing elite OCC games. We on the other hand are playing the "save GC and Clawson jobs" schedule.

I hardly feel that Idaho, Wyoming, and West Virginia is a cupcake schedule. A team that was supposed to be a contender in the WAC, a MWC school, and a Big East power is a pretty damn good OOC lineup in my opinion and at the same time it's not going to beat up the team so bad that we will have to spend the first few weeks of the MAC schedule recovering (which is what I expect from Toledo this year).

Although to some people who like to find any excuse to bitch about BG sports, I see your point.

 Who did tsun open the season with? That powerhouse New Hampshire. Idaho, Wyoming and WVU isn't a cupcake sked. Who did Miami play today? Minnesota is an elite program?

And next year, we open at Florida and have Va Tech two weeks later. Those are cupcakes.

Are you related to birdman?

Weren't Idaho and Wyoming scheduled before Clawson was even hired?
