This is where scheduling really, really, really gets annoying. This is getting posted BEFORE once of the games from last week, thanks to the crazy MAC office. So ... some of these picks I'm going to have to make without knowing how these teams play today. I'll put up scores and percentages once last week's games are over.

Miami. Akron is really, really, really bad.
Kent State. Not sure why but I'm feeling them winning this one after the game Saturday.
Ball State. Eastern's a good story, sure. But Ball State has a pretty good offense. I see them winning this one.
Bowling Green. My homer pick of the week. This game scares the hell out of me. If we win, it will be in a shootout. NIU hasn't shown the ability to stop anybody. If ... if our offense can come to life and keep up, you never know.
Toledo. WMU isn't the same WMU from earlier in the season.
Temple. Tough call honestly.

Central Michigan at Kent State, 8:00 Which Kent team shows up? The one that beat BG or the one that couldn't get into the endzone in practice? I think Kent will win, but based on last weeks picks, I am just guessing....

Ball State at Eastern Michigan, 12:00 EMU will stay hot and get bowl eligible! How many times has ANYBODY said that?

Tuesday
Northern Illinois at Bowling Green, 8:00 NIU has too much offensively. We couldn't beat Kent.... This could get ugly.
Western Michigan at Toledo, 8:00 Toledo rights the ship after the shootout against NIU.

Wednesday
Miami at Temple, 8:00 Temple will crush J.Crew U

Akron at Miami: Boy are the Zips bad.

Central Michigan at Kent State: Could go either way, but I think the Chips will pull it off.

Ball State at Eastern Michigan: Hard to believe, but this could be a really good game.

Northern Illinois at Bowling Green: Can't see us keeping up with a team that can score 63 points in a game.

Western Michigan at Toledo: spRockets bounce back in a very tough game.

Miami at Temple: Miami will make it respectable.

Northern Illinois at Bowling Green, 8:00 - Still can't pick against BGSU (and prbly never will) Offense is going have to turn things around quickly. Pick: BGSU

Western Michigan at Toledo, 8:00 - WMU has been struggling of late...I think an PO'ed Toledo team shows up and beats WMU easily. Pick: Toledo

Miami at Temple, 8:00 - Watching this Ohio/Temple game is pretty clear teams will load the box against Temple untill they prove they can throw. It will be tough but I think Temple pulls out a close 1. Pick: Temple

I'll be at the Pitt - Cincinnati game Saturday night. My kid is a Pitt alum. It was fun for me a couple of years ago when we went to the BG - Pitt game.

Haha Falconian I was thinking about heading there ... big Cincinnati fan and Pitt is about halfway between my dad (Cinci alum) and me ... but nah, staying in the DC area for the weekend.

Northern Illinois at Bowling Green, 8:00: I have to pick BGSU, if for no other reason than they MUST win.
Western Michigan at Toledo, 8:00: Toledo will win because they are also facing somewhat of a must win.

Miami at Temple, 8:00: Temple. Miami has a short week, and I think it will come back to bite them.

Akron at Miami, 7:30 - Miami - This one will likely be over by halftime. BG may end up not bowling this year because of not playing Akron, and its a shame.

Friday
Central Michigan at Kent State, 8:00 - Central Michigan - This one's tricky, but I don't expect Kent to win 2 weeks in a row...Chippewas win an ugly one.

Saturday
Ball State at Eastern Michigan, 12:00 - Ball State - I think everybody's just a little too high on EMU right now, and Ball State's gotten no respect all year. Cardinals to make a statement in Ypsilianti.

Tuesday
Northern Illinois at Bowling Green, 8:00 - Bowling Green - Call me crazy, but I see BG playing their best game all year, and NIU is caught napping following the emotional win over Toledo.

Western Michigan at Toledo, 8:00 - Toledo - Damn this is a tough week to predict. Going with the Rockets at home, mostly because WMU has been horrible on the road lately and I hate them more than I hate the Rockets.

Wednesday
Miami at Temple, 8:00 - Temple - Redhawks have to play 2 games in 6 days and this one's away so I don't like their chances. Owls win at home.
