Yeah I saw that tweet from fbrumormill and didn't feel it worth posting. Completely unsubstantiated. Not even sure where you come up with that crap. I don't post garbage on this site ... I leave that to ... nevermind.

I just thought it pretty funny that this would even be on someones radar. It's really quite preposterous!

Tom - I saw the word preposterous and immediately heard that entire post in Mike Tyson's voice.

Dude won 7 games in 2 years. I really don't think it's preposterous! It's not likely, but I would be more surprised to hear he signed a 5 year extension then he was fired.

I am not saying Clawson should be fired, but typical of the department to make excuses again. I wouldn't say Clawson is doing a "great job" even though the team had "apr issues."

At this point he has done an average to below average job. If he competes for a title next year, then you can reevaluate from there. These magical excuses of "apr issues" and being a "young team" are beyond getting old.

THe truth is getting old? Look at the other programs around the MAC...NIU and UT had horrible years and follwed them with a medicore year and then were in a position to contend. I see us being on a similar arc. Hell...We would have been bowl eligible if we had CMU and/or Akron on the schedule...every other MAC program had at least one of the creampuffs on their slate. We didn't. We had the top three from the west and the top two from the east.

I think you reevaluate next year if we tread water or regress...as it sits I think Clawon's doing a good job

I can't wait to tee up the ball in the Swamp 9/1. Why? Cuz we're gonna find out what Coach Clawson's made of...and I think BG is in for a very special year in 2012.
