Western Kentucy left out of Bowl game
Western Kentucy left out of Bowl game
Kind of like BG the last couple of years. After finishing number two in the sun belt with a 7-5 record was left out. How about the comment the Ohio punter made about playing in Boise?

Did they do away with the rule making bowl games take 7-5 teams before offering 6-6 teams?

Apparently the rule is that if a bowl has a conference tie-in, you must fulfill that with eligible teams from that conference, you cannot take a 6-6 team before you take a 7-5 or better team from that conference. If there isn't an eligible team from the tied-in conference, then I think the rule you mentioned applies.BGDrew wrote:Did they do away with the rule making bowl games take 7-5 teams before offering 6-6 teams?

And more than likely will end the season with a 6-8 record.1987alum wrote:Meanwhile, UCLA is in a bowl game with a 6-7 record.
